It's not too late to grow some peppers! This container setup takes the guesswork out of planting peppers! Each pepper has already been growing in 2 to 4 gallons of premium potting soil, and is sprinkled with some time-release fertilizer. All you have to do is plop it down in the sunniest location in your yard and water thoroughly every 3 days if it doesn't rain! Or place the nursery pot inside of a more decorative container. Then harvest the peppers this fall for use in all your favorite recipes.

The best part about planting peppers in a container? It's easy to bring them inside next to a sunny windowsill during the winter, and simply take it back outside next spring for another year's worth of peppers! (For best results if you choose to do this, trim it back some the same way you would trim a rose bush. Give the foliage a good spraying with a strong hose setting to blast away any insect pests, then coat it down with dish-soapy water from a spray bottle, before bringing it inside. And of course, set it on a tray to protect your floor if needed. After the danger of frost had passed, reintroduce it to the outside by taking it out for an hour at first, then increasing the amount of time it spends in the Sun by another hour each day until it stays outside. Add another sprinkling of all purpose time release fertilizer.)
